Construction of Understanding is a digital installation, throughout which I move freely between photography, home videos, painting, and drawing to explore the women’s role in a family.
I capture the seemingly mundane moments of life, perplexed by the women in my own family.
Influenced by early photography, which raises moral questions regarding the responsibilities photographers and photojournalists have to their subjects, in my work, I constantly ask similar questions where my attempts to make sense of the complexities in human behaviour are my main point of reference.
